About the Information Collections

The IC holds two library collections to support the coursework and daily lives of undergraduate students.

Undergraduate Services Reference Collections:

  • Reference collections are housed on the first floor of the IC.
  • Career Reference (guide books on cover letters, resumes, taking GRE, etc).
  • Browsing Collection (NYT Best Sellers).
  • General Reference (ready reference, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc).

Undergraduate Services Core Collection:

  • The Core Collection is housed in IC2.
  • 17,000 volumes.
  • contains current titles and high-use materials central to the IU Bloomington undergraduate curriculum.
