Information Commons Technology

Student Technology Centers provide the IC hardware and deliver the 180 software applications to the desktop. There are 263 workstations in the IC1 and 68 workstations in the IC2 for a total of 330 workstations. All workstations are on a 3 year replacement cycle.

The majority of the workstations are PCs with the exception of 10% Macintosh workstations. The workstations are collaboratively managed by UITS and the Libraries. Visit the links to the left for more information about the types of technology available in the IC.
